Many Uses of Lace

India has many fancy lace manufacturers spread out in almost all cities, big and small. Laces are beautiful. An addition of lace to anything, gives a feminine and traditional yet stylish and very elegant touch to it. There are many different types of laces and many different ways one can use them. In this blog, we will talk about two such laces: Eyelet lace and Embroidery lace.

Embroidery Laces

Laces are found in decorating home, making dresses, decorating pillowcases, and tablecloth. Lace add a touch of feminism and beauty to something, which is very ordinary and plain and needs something to make it livening. Embroidery lace is added to bedsheets and pillowcases to give a frill to the bedroom and the bed. It is sewn around the edges of the pillowcases to give a boost to a plain boring bed. Embroidery laces are also sewn around tablecloth or used alone as a sweet accent on the dining table. These laces are also used on dresses to give it an extra feminine touch to the plain drab dress.

Eyelet laces

Eyelet laces are cotton laces with definite holes to it that makes the pattern. The holes are so sewn that they do not unravel the entire fabric. The lace got its name from the holes that are called the eyelets. This lace is so versatile that it can be used for many purposes. These are very easy to use with, adds a feminine to touch to blouses, and dresses with plain background. These laces look adorable on a baby girl's dress too. Since it has a non-frilly look, it goes with pillowcases and curtains as well. Home decorating is another aspect to eyelet laces as they come with vibrant colors like military green and burgundy. A touch of eyelet lace around the edges of that suede drapes of the gray curtain give a unique look yet with a traditional touch!

You can team up eyelet and embroidery laces together, on drapes of curtain or that pillowcase for a dramatic makeover of the house! A modern touch of silver holes on a metallic blue curtain gives an extra dab of update for an average family house.
